Entourage 2008 secure connection error

I

indy1979

I recently switched from using my own exchange server to a hosted
solution using Exchange 2007. After the most recent OS X update
10.5.6, Entourage 2008 is trying to connect to my old domain and I
receive the "Unable to establish secure connection to xyz.com" error.
Strange thing is, I'm no longer using the xyz.com domain to connect to
Exchange.

Where are the preferences that store the Entourage account
information? Reinstalling Office didn't solve the problem cause when I
started Entourage, my accounts were still listed...

Where are the preferences that store the Entourage account
information?

Did you delete the account? Passwords are stored in the Apple Keychain.
Delete them there.

Most of Entourage's preferences are stored in the User's Library Preferences
folder. Some are .plist files others are in the Microsoft folder inside
preferences and some are actually in the database.

Let us know if you continue to have problems.

You can verify your Exchange account information under Tools -->
Accounts... Double-click your Exchange account.

Hope this helps!
