entourage calendar shows wrong time

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

When I enter a new appointment in the calendar it changes the time ahead 1 hour. At the top of the window the message reads "In the Calendar, the event time has been adjusted for your time zone". Adjusting to the wrong time is not a help! Daylight savings is already here.

How do I get it to read the correct time??

Also, the version I am running is 10.1.6. Is this current? Auto update is on, and I do get updates to programs all the time - but I don't know if I have been getting any for this program.
