Entourage X - Messages stay in outbox

Thanks for your help. My Mom's Entourage X for Mac has the Entourage
symbol on the dock bounce up a down with the Error Message "Mail could
not be sent using the account "pegs MM Email account " 5.5.2 <TOM >
address rejected. Need fully qualified address."

This has been happening for some time intermittantly. Sometimes they
wait in the outbox for minutes, sometimes for days...sometimes they
never leave

The Out mail often stays in the box for a day or two, and it is
intermittant.

It's the actual address that is incorrect. The best thing to do is add the
address to the Address Book by opening a message that was received from this
person and add to Address Book. (under Tools in the menu bar, select "Add to
Address Book") This way when she starts to enter the address Entourage will
start automatically filling the correct address.

Hello Tom60 Son of Peg,

Just an extension of what Dianne said, you may want to clear the most recent
addresses preference under the Entourage Menu > Preferences and this will
force the autocomplete to just use address from the address book and always
make sure the outbox is clear as the outbox may get backed up by a corrupted
e-mail, if a normal sized e-mail does not go out whithin a couple of minutes
then check your Internet connection and or re-create the e-mail and trash
the e-mail in the outbox.
