entry point GetIUMS could not be located in dynamic link msdart.dl

Had to re-softinstall my XP. Now receive an error msg when opening
outlook.exe/Today "The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in
dynamic link library msdart.dll"
This is what I tried:
1) de-installed office
2) re-installed -> error remains
3) downloaded MDAC_TYP 2.7, installed in Save Mode -> error remains
4) downloaded Jet 4.0 SP8, installed -> Installation failed as system told
me that there already is a higher version in place
5) run ComponentChecker -> tells me that msdart.dll is okay and of version 2.8
6) download and run MDAC_TYP 2.8, installation failed with "MDAC 2.8 RTM is
incompatible with this version of Windows. All of its features are currently
part of Windows."
7) downloaded from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msdart
-> msdart.dll was not accepted
8) downloaded from http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/DartFix.zip ->
error remains
9) tried to register the seach msdart.dll version with "regsvr32 MSDART.DLL"
-> received error: "msdart.dll was loaded , but the DllRegisterServer
entrypoint was not found"

Anybody has an idea, pleeeeeease? I am trying to avoid to pull the last
trigger by running a complete recovery

I get the same error referencing GetTextExtentPointI instead of GetIUMS. Any
help would be appreciated.
