Equipment Resource definitions

How do I create a new Resource which is a Server to be available around the
clock for testing during the string testing of my new release?

Hello MED,

In the Resources Sheet of Project, create the new resource : "Server x" in
the Resource Name column. In the drop down list of the Calendar column,
select the 24h calendar.

So there is no official clasification of "Equipment" in the Resource
definition as there is for material?

As Gerarrd said - but note, the Server is a Work resource, not a material
resource. I meantion that because some people think "material" means
"inanimate." But that's not true. Material resources are used up and
incorporated into the delieverable. Your server isn't - it is performing
work that contributes to the task's deliverable, just like a person, but it
isn't used up in the process.
