Erl Function

I was reading an article at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/bestpractices.htm which discussed the Erl
Function which will return the line number of error producing code.
However, this does not work unless your lines of code are numbered.
Numbering them manually would be a real PITA.

Is there a way to get Access to auto number lines in the VBA editor? Is
there an add-in?

TIA

Interestingly, there is a huge gap in the posts from 9/19/04 to 10/08/04 and
no search will produce the post you refer to.
