error 2003 powerpoint shutdown

I just installed office professinal 2003 on a new
computer. i am getting an error message when i close
powerpoint 2003. it says it expierienced a problem. it is
running on a windows 2000 platform. can anyone please

2003, and it discusses crashes at the start of a program, not when
closing, but it may be worth trying. The path to Office 2003 may be a
bit different than the path to Office XP (as listed in the article), so
be aware of that. This would be my last-ditch attempt only if the stuff
above doesn't work..
