error accessing file. Network Connection may have been lost

Hi,

We recently restored our corrupt Enterprise Global (2007), but I am getting
the "Error accessing file. Network Connection may have been lost" when
trying to make a copy of one of our master files to a local drive.

I have made copies like this before without any problem, and our other
master files do not seem to pose a problem. Any ideas? Is our file
corrupted?

hi Gary,

I dont think it is the E-Global because I flushed it a second time and I'm
still getting the message. I've discovered that out of the 4 master files
that we have, only 2 of them genereate this "Error accessing file. Network
Connection may have been lost" message. This message comes up ONLY when
attempting to make of a copy of these 2 master files (to local drive). I
click OK a few times to get rid of the message, then everything seems to
works fine after that. I am able to proceed with make the copies as usual...

/Spiro.

Spiro:

Perhaps the message is happening based on the way you're copying the files.
Are you opening all of the files at once, and then saving one by one? If
not, try doing that as this may be related to the linking.

Not sure what to suggest from here. Have you looked at the log files? Does
it happen on every machine?
