When I try to run the ASR in XP Pro as the administrator I receive the following in the report:
Error: Could not access portions of directory System State\COM+ Class Registration Database.
You may not have permission to open the file, or the directory may be missing or damaged.
Please contact the owner or administrator.

The operation did not successfully complete.
Any suggestions as to the cause or correction of this condition would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Deepak

Could you please enlighten me as to what, exactly, this has to do with

Run the system file checker to make sure all your system components are installed and
working correctly:

START | RUN | SFC /SCANNOW

You'll need your XP CD.
