Error imn WKWDADDN.dll

Periodically when I close a word document (word 2000) I receive the message: Winord has caused an error in WKWDADDN.dll. Winword will now close...
I have tried to uninstall "word in Works Suite add-in" but apparently it was never installed ( have the discs). Can I just remove Works 2000? If I do will it wipe out my word program? Help.

Try looking instead for Microsoft Works Suite Add-in for Word. If you don't
find that, try finding and renaming wkwdaddn.dll.

The WKWDADDN.dll file is part of the add-in so you have had it installed at
some time. It is possible that the installer file no longer exists on your
PC so the uninstall routine does not know how to handle the uninstallation.
The simplest plan is to reinstall the add-in from the Works disc to replace
the missing files, then uninstall it again.
