Ooops - pressed the Return-key too quickly,,,
.... continuting on my own post here above.
Some ISP's don't allow you to send e.g. Compuserve's SMTP-tagged emailout
via their own SMTP-server, which is why I believe I have run into this
problem in the
past. It's a recurring problem however, even as I change ISP, so perhaps there
is a way to circumvent it ?
I suddenly two days ago was not able to send emails out anymore, even though I
have set up two Outlook 2000 accounts - one without the Secure Password box
checked for receiveing Compuserve email (working still), and the other with
the
box checked (and logins entered) for outgoing Compuserve emails.
Could any Windows update patches have changed something ?
The Error Loading the Distributed Password Authentication components seems to
be another problem, perhaps related to the SMTP-thingy, as it pops up when the
email sending fails. Anyone knows ?
Grateful for feedback !
