error messages

when loading publisher97, i get error saying 16 bit window
system - window\system32\autoexec.nt. - system file not
suitable for running MS-DOS & Microsoft Windows
applications. This has recently happened, I used it OK
before. Does anyone have any idea how I can remedy this?

Publisher 97 was a 32-bit program, wasn't it?

Fair enough - I thought Publisher for Windows 95 and onward were 32-bit (as
they required Windows 95 and supported long filenames)
