I just started at my company and am trying to show my boss Project is a good
tool for us. I downloaded a 98 Trial version around July 28th and thought I
had 60 days to show my boss it was worth buying Project (maybe the 98 or 2000
version to save money). I've been using it since then with no problem and am
on my way to convincing my boss. This morning, when I opened a schedule
project, I got the message "MSP has encountered an error and needs to close.
Send or don't send error report to MS." After restarting, etc, with no
success, I've downloaded the MS 2003 Project Trial version today from the MS
Web site (deleting all previous versions) and I am getting the exact same
error message. I've tried the Trial Booting trick under the FAQs section and
though the "yes" sticks in RegEdit, it does not prevent this error. Any
ideas? No help for trial versions, but this is not helping my case to my boss
that we should buy Project if I can't solve this problem...thanks!
