Error when installing Microsoft Office Documnet Scanning

C

Cy Dodimead

I tried to open the program via the program menu but it
needed to be installed. I inserted my Office 2003 disk
and after a short while I had the error "A required
installation file SKU011.CAB could not be found". I can't
find the file on the disk or my hard drive. Help, what
next?

Hi Cy Dodimead,

First Option...
1. Double-click Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Office 2003 entry listed in the Add/Remove Programs
Properties
dialog box.
3. Click Repair Office.
Second Option ...
If Repair does not work
1. Completely remove Office from computer from add / remove programs.
2. Reboot.
3. Reinstall Office 2003.

OR

Please take a look at the security settings.Usually The security settings
on C-drive prevents from creating new directories in the root directory,
and the installer apparently wants to create C:\MSOCache. So if you don't
have
this directory and can't create it yourself you cannot patch Office 2003.
SO create the Folder...

I would be still workign this issue...
Thank you...
