Error woth Word Document File Opening

Why is it that when I click on word document from 'My Document Folder' it is
the Excel that opens with error message - "File document is not valid"? This
problem started since I downloaded Works 6.0 Converter.

You've reached the wrong newsgroup because users here are not users of Works.
Can you tell us how you posted your question? What website did you use or did
you click on a link within Word or Excel?

Apparently your file associations have been modified. You'll need to go to My
Computer and click on Tools > Folder Options > File Types. Locate the DOC file
extension and set it to be opened by Word.
