EV (BCWP) not calculating correctly

Tom

Has anyone seen issues with EV (BCWP) not calculating correctly when Actual
Work is performed days / weeks ahead of the baseline start and baseline work?

Hello Tom,

Can you be a bit more specific about the "issues" you are seeing?
What version of Project including Service pack? What are you seeing
for BCWP and what were you expecting to see?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie,

I'm using 2007 SP2. I've gotten farther with understanding my issue since
last night. My real problem is BaseLine Cost. The resource is
overallocated and the baseline cost did not calc. correctly. I'm reviewing
my plan and data set-up to see if I can determine the problem.

Regards,

Tom

Great Tom. As a note, overallocation will not change the calculated
baseline cost. It is still the number of hours * standard rate. If
you were expecting Project to use an overtime rate -- it will not
unless the overtime is specifically assigned by you.
