Evaluation copy expires prematurely

I installed my evaluation copy of Project 2003 this
morning. It opened fine. When I started the program
again a little later, it told me it expired. I unistalled
and reinstalled and have the same problem. It starts fine
the first time and then the second it has expired.

I did have another problem today and had to uninstall and
re-install my Office 2000 after I had the trial version
installed. I don't know if this has anything to do with
it.

I've spoken to every department at Microsoft, and while
they were very polite, they have been unable to solve the
problem and referred me here. There is no technical
support for trial versions.

I had the same problem and have had not success in
finding a solution. I can not access Microsoft's on-line
support because the trial version did does not have a
product number to get a passport. Although I paid $120
for this product (it is a requirement of my university
course and came with the textbook). It doesn't appear
contcting Microsoft further will be useful.

Wow. That's a lot of money. I hope that the book is useful, as the
trial copy of Project can be obtained free from various sources (I was
handed 3-4 CD's with it on at a software show in London this week), or
for free (with some cost charged for shipping and handling) direct from
Microsoft.

Probably best if you seek advice from the Professor who requires this
book and CD for your course. She/He probably has experience in how to
make it all work for the class.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
