Sorry - we're not Microsoft officials so there's not much we can do about
your protestations except explain the way the system works. The only
workaround I'm aware of is to completely reformat the hard drive, reinstall
Windows and all your software, and start over with a clean slate. If by
"demonstrate" you mean you're training people in its use and work for an
educational institution, then you can save money by purchasing the
educational version or if your employer is a Microsoft Training Partner you
may be eligble for a very low cost NFR copy through them or be covered under
a site license. If you're "demonstrating" in order to sell it to a client,
then Microsoft makes NFR versions available to its dealer network, etc, for
exactly that purpose. But if you mean you were using it in your previous
job and have now moved on to a new employer taking your computer with you,
are continuing to use it yourself and hope to convince them to adopt it
company- wide, well, you really should be using the regular retail version
for that sort of thing since you're planning to do real work with it.

But this is to demonstrate to people in a different organisation where the
machine is now employed.

No - the evaluation period is for you to have a chance to decide if the
product will work out for you or not. Once the period expires, you need
to
either purchase the regular version or move on. Otherwise people could
use
it for years without actually buying the product merely be reinstalling
it
every 90 days.
