every message has text attachment

I am using Outlook 2002 on Win XP SP1. For 24 hrs now every email I receive has a [subject].txt attachment with the same contents as the message. Why is this happening and how do I stop it? Thanks

Have you tried restarting Outlook or computer to see if the problem clears?
