EXCEL Cell Highlighter

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

When working in excel it is hard for me to see which cell is highlighted and where I am at. Is there a way to change it so that I can bold the cell with a different color or change the way the cell is highlighted. I am a new mac user and am used to a PC, so I am confused.

Hope somebody can help...

The color of the cell selector is dictated by the OS.

AppleMenu> System Preferences> Personal> Appearance - Hightlight Color...
Pick what ever you want, but that becomes the highlight color for *all*
programs including Finder.
