We are running Excel 2002 with some very intense VB macros
from a Citrix server. The files are all stored in a DFS
share on a file server. The application initializes just
fine but when it comes time to output the final data and
overwrite the previous file, Excel bombs. If the output
file is deleted before the application tries to overwrite
it it does not fail. The user running the Excel app has
modify and delete privs. to the folders which store the
data.
