Excel Files

Raiju,

You can't BUT you can link to the multiple Excel files and append to one
Access table. You can run code to do so via a macro or VBA connect to a
command button or some other trigger on a form.

I would ignore Gina, her answer is to use Jet, no matter how
applicable.

I'd just move to SQL Server and learn a real ETL tool like DTS or SSIS

Why, because she answered the question that the poster asked? Your
dogmatism isn't helping.

Gina speaks with tremendously more wisdom than Aaron with respect to
answering your question. Continue to consider her advice in this thread.

Thanks! I'm trying y best to ignore Aaron as it seems that (as mentioned
by Chris) he seems to enjoy distracting all from actully answering the
OP's question.

I don't have much knowledge in writing macro, can you provide with the codes
where i can change the path & file names.

Raiju,

There is no code to write to link to the Excel spreadsheets...

You open the database go to File... Get External Data... Link Tables...
Once the window opens up navigate to the Excel Spreadsheet. Do this for
each Excel Spreadsheet. Once done create a table with all the appropiate
fields to append all the spreadsheets to. Then all you will need is some
append queries but let's get thru the linking first.
