Excel filtered colums

Is there a limit to the number of values that can be seen in a column that is
filtered when the down arrow is clicked? My Excel sheet is 59,500 lines
long. Column C contains field names. Many are duplicates and many are not.
When I click the down arrow I see an alphabetical listing of these values but
not all of them. I know this for certain because one of the names starts
with XML. The list is ending in the letter V. And if I have a space in one
of my rows how does this effect filtering? Thanks

I found that link about 30 minutes ago after I was emailed you answered my
post. Can you tell me, if there is a blank row, how does that effect the
filter when the list drops down. At this poing I don't think I've reached
the limit and I cannot get a count.....what is the embossed area your link
refers to for the count? Thanks...

blank rows in between could cause Excel to not recognize the data below
these rows. One workaround:
- select your complete data rang manually
- then apply the filter

Hi Frank,
Nope..LOL...no go still....what about obtaining a count of the fields in the
dropdown list when I click on the arrow. I have count set and see results
based on making a selection but is there a way to capture those fields in
that drop down list? I was thinking of just pasting into another worksheet
and seeing how many rows there are.

Regarding response time. If I remove my headers the document responds much
faster. Is there a way to attach a comment to the column Alpha names? Is
Easy Filter suppose to work WITH Autofilter on or off? Thanks
