Excel formatting problem when pasting

Bill

I have an Excel sheet with row and column formatting of different sizes and
some cells merged.

What I woul like to do is to copy the sheet 25 times below on the same
sheet. I do not want it in another sheet.

When I do so, the formatting size of the rows are not the same and I have to
manually change them. How can I get Excel to keep the row and column size
formatting
when I paste it.

Thanks for any help

If you're copying down the sheet, and you've formatted your columns, you
should have no problems with the columns duplicating.

When it comes time to copy the rows, *COPY THE ROWS*, not the individual
cells!

Select the *entire* row(s) by clicking on the row numbers themselves.
When you're ready to paste, click on the row number where you want it to
start.

This will copy all row heights and formats to the new area.

Alternately, use Edit/Paste Special. In the dialog box you can choose Column
width for you requirment or Formula and Number Formats which I use a lot.
