Excel template is opened in edit mode

Hello,

There is an Excel template located in the shared folder on our network. It
worked fine before. However, when we open the template now, it is opened in
edit mode instead of a blank workbook. Since the template is used by a few
people, I am not sure what actions lead to the result.

How can I fix this issue? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
