OK I've been using this database for a while now and I've run into a strange
problem. I haven't split it yet since I'm still developing it but all of a
sudden when I log into the database it goes into exclusive mode. I've checked
all the obvious places to ensure it's not opening in exclusive mode
automatically. When I log in using another login it works just fine but when
I use my login, which is in the Admins Group, it locks the db into exclusive
mode. So what I did was create another login under the Admins Group and tried
that one. It works just fine. So why is my original login opening the db in
exclusive mode every time and now the new login is working fine? Anyone have
any ideas? Oh and I'm using Access 2000.
