explainatory notes

I have around 50 text boxes in my 8 slide presentation. some have
explanatory notes and some dont And a possiblity that a few text boxes are
duplicate. Can i have the explianatory notes showing for duplicate boxes. Is
there a easy way to handle these rather than doing it individually in all
the slides.
