i have outlook 2002

i configured 2 mail accounts in it, one of them is belong
to exchange server, and the outher one belong to hotmail
service.
anyway i forget my hotmail account password, i log every
time automatic from outlook
but my problem now that i need to format my PC, and i
will not be able to access my hotmail account any more
but if there is any way i can backup the outlook settings
as it is with all account settings include the password
that will be great, and i think there is a way to export
these settings as there is a way to import it but how
could i do it and is it from inside outlook2002 or should
i use another tool.

This won't help with backing up your settings but - go to the Help pages on
Hotmail. Find the link that takes you to where you can change your password
and find the option that says "Forgotten Password". Follow the prompts from
there
