Export MS Publisher templates or files to Word 2002 XP

I've created files and amended templates of envelopes in MS Publisher
2002, and want to ue them in WORD 2002 XP.

I'd very much appreciate some help please.

I've tried "save as" in Publisher and attempted to save it
in to WORD, but the options appear not to allow that
particular function.

Altrnatively I then tried opening the Publisher file whilst
in WORD but that didn't happen either..

I'd appreciate guidance please.

Why do you want to do this?
If you want to share your Publisher files with users who don't have
Publisher, I'd suggest using a PDF file - www.pdf995.com is a free solution.

envelope templates (full range) in Publisher, but very few in WORD.
In this case therefore .PDF wouldn.t be the answer.

envelope templates (full range) in Publisher, but very few in WORD.
In this case therefore .PDF wouldn.t be the answer.

Can't you just use Publisher to create the envelopes?
Or use Word's envelope templates, and adjust the page size to a Custom size
that matches the size of the envelope?

I opened the Envelope DL

Amended it to the size(s) I wanted, then saved as .dot
and repeated the function to .doc. Automatically each
of the formats went to the correct site. I can now open
them as either a document or as a template, which
was what I wanted to do.
