Exporting Hotmail Contacts to Outlook

I've been using Hotmail but am now moving to Outlook 2000. I need to export
my long list of e-mail addresses and other contact information to Outlook.

I've already checked there and do not see anything that even suggests that
this can be done i.e. from Hotmail to Outlook... so can it?

I don't have access to my Hotmail account from work, but if you do, go to
your Contacts options on Hotmail's web and see that the options are.
