Exporting Mail

Trying to export mail from Outlook Express from laptop to
a new desktop. Go to File/Export/Msssages and then get an
error message ".. .failed to initialize MAPI." Is there
some workaround?

You will probably get better responses if you post your question to an
Outlook Express newsgroup.

Don't export - go to insideoe.tomsterdam.com and find hte instructions on moving your message stores.

I'm not sure if WinXP's File and Transfer wizard will move all of the OE files or not...

BTW - the error relates to exporting to Outlook and means you need OL installed. But it won't do you any good to move between OE.
