I purchased office 2007 after using it during a trial. I had office xp
installed on my laptop and wanted to upgrade. The install failed with a
dialogue box saying that Outlook.en-us\OutlkLR.cab cannot be found, browse to
a valid installation source and then click ok. I have explored the disc and
found the cab file. I copied it to my hard drive and then browsed but it
doesn't show in the explore window.
I clicked through the browser window to the location on the disc where the
folder is but it won't show the contents of it.
I am not even given the option to continue. If i choose ok it brings up a
message saying invalid location. If i choose cancel, the whole install
cancels!!!!
Does anyone know how to resolve this as i am out of ideas now?
bewildered and loving it!
