I have Windows 2003 SBS and Office 2003 (Student and teacher) installed. The
Company Web Share Point site is accessed via HTTPS.
I am able to create a document by openning up the sharepoint document
library and by using the new document feature which opens up Word 2003. I
can then create and save the document successfully.
When I go into the shared workspace in Word, I can see the properties of the
document but the updates fail. The result is i can not see the document users
or tasks but I can see the properties and the metadata associated with the
document.
Sherpoint has been set up to allow access to the internet via port 444 and
access is through the firewall (External IP). I have also tried accessing the
sharepoint site directly using the internal IP with the same results.
Finally, I have checked the system, security, and application logs and have
not seen any anomalies.
What else can I check or what are the possible causes of this failed update?
