failure importing pst file

Keith Brickey

I have a pst file that was made using Outlook 2003. I need to import it into
Outlook 2002 (10.4712.4219) SP-2. The file seems to be importing and then at
the end there is an "Operation Failed" message. I ran scanpst.exe on the
file, so I know it does not contain errors. Is this problem caused by the
different versions of Outlook? If so, is there a workaround?

Thanks,

Keith

If you used the new unicode format for the .pst file, you will need to
reinstall Outlook 2003 and then export the .pst file to a 97-2002 compatible
format.
