File Attchment

Hi,

I have a File Attachment control on my form. I am abel to submit the attachment to the form library and the attachment details to the SQL database.

Now, when the I open a blank form first it should check for the any attachment submitted by the user, if available it should bind the attachment back to the File Attachment control. And the big thing is all this has to be done prgorammatically.

My very first question. Is This Possible?

If YES then please help me out !!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
First check whether you have the attachment or not in the library. You can
do this using the sharepoint receive data connection. If you have attachment
then get the file name of that attachment and concat that value with the
library path. That should look like
http://<server>/<sitename>/<libraryname>/<fileattachment>. Store this value
in afield (say field1). Place an hyperlink by linking this field. Place this
hyperlink in a section and add conditional formatting as field1 is blank then
hide this control.
Add conditional formatting for attachment control as if field1 is not blank
then hide this control.
