I have created an Access 2000 front end that is linked to a back end. I have
posted the front end on the FTP server and I want to force people to save the
front end file to their My Documents folder so I want to turn off the OPEN
option.

Can anybody help.

Can't be done. This is the browser's behavior. In either case, it is
downloading the file. The only difference is that when they choose "Save" it
saves it to a location other than their Temporary Internet Files folder.

You can lead a fish to a bicycle,
but it takes a very long time,
and the bicycle has to *want* to change.

OK, I think this is Good. So what you are saying is that the database is not
being run on my web server. I don't want the users to populate the database
as it sits on the webserver. I want it on their hard drive, that way if they
blow up their font end it will not affect other users, and they can go get
another front end.
