File New

When I click on file new, I expect to see a blank page, but mine isn't blank.
I see a previously intentionally unsaved letter that I drafted. How can I
get rid of it so that my blank document is actually blank again?

Thank you sooo much for pointing me in the right direction. This very same
problem was making me crazy. I went back 4 pages to find your answer to
solve my problem and learned lots along the way. I was getting tired of
clicking "Select all" then Delete on a New document.
