File\Print makes Word Doc blink

On a Dell Dimension 4500S desktop the file\print selection makes the document
blink without bringing up a print menu. The print icon still works. How can
I make the file\print menu work again?

Look and see if the print dialog box opened behind the application
window. You may need to do Detect and repair. See Help.
