Where do you get the error
File Open Web
http://www.yourdomain.com/
Or
File Publish and select the browse button to an existing folder on your PC (say C:\Myweb)
(you can also just use File Publish and enter: C:\MyWeb as a destination)
The folder C:\MyWeb must exist
| None of the methods in that article work, I get errors
| regarding there being backslashes in the file name or
| cannot create vti private file. I think it may be due to
| the fact that the server doesn't have Frontpage
| extensions installed. I also opened the index page in
| IE, chose edit with Frontpage, publish web and tried to
| publish it to my webs (which is currently empty.
|
| Another thing I've tried is to remove the my webs folder
| from my documents and reinstall the older version from
| the backup I have but for some reason it will not allow
| me to delete the empty my webs folder nor will it
| overwrite it.
|
| Any ideas?
