File Upload Component Grayed Out

After I installed FP 2002 the File Upload Component is
grayed out.
Why is this happening?

Go to Tools -> Page Options -> Compatibility Tab. This is where you'll remove the grayed features. I personally had the problem and fixed it on that page, but forgot what I did.
