File won't open and Publisher crashes

I created a 28-page file and been editing it. Today the file would not open
and the system closed with the "hope it's not an inconvenience. . .should we
send a message about it" message. I have reinstalled Publisher 2002 and can
open other files, but not that one. Suggestions? Thank you
