FileFormatConverters & Excel 2003

I've russian Excel 2003 and installed FileFormatConverters.exe to save
in new 2007 format but I can't see anywhere option to choose the new
format,"Save as..." menu contains nothing about it.Word installed just
fine and new format option exists in "Save as..." menu.

What could be wrong?

If I understand you correctly, you do not have the option to save a
spreadsheet in the "xlsx" format, correct? Just a guess...but did you make
sure to install all available updates for Office 2003 before installing the
format converter?
