Filename in slide auto update

I have a client that wants the filename at the bottom of
every slide and wants it to udpate automatically if the
filename changes. Is this possible? She has PP XP.

friend that knows a lot.

Give him your request, the add-in isn't too difficult for an experienced VBA
coder.

The key will be for him to use or create an event trapping routine for
PowerPoint. Have him check the FAQ for details on making PowerPoint respond
to events.
