Files Not Sorting A-Z

S

Stefanie

Please help. My files are listing themselves Z to A
instead of A to Z. For example when I select "file"
then "open" my folders and files are listing themselves Z
to A. It was originally set up correctly but I must have
it a button somewhere along the line that changed
something. This is affecting all my office programs such
as word, excel, powerpoint and access.
Thanks for your help!

Open the directory in Windows Explorer. Click on the column head above your
file names to change the sort order. You may also need to do this in your
find box - sort the items by details and then change the sort order.

Hi Stefanie,

When you're in a File Open dialog set to detail view you can
click on the title bar above the columns. Click on the 'Name'
column title bar should reverse the sort from what you're seeing.
