Fill Effects

I'd like to fill an autoshape or make a line that looks as if it were drawn
by chalk or a single paintbrush stroke. Any suggestions?

Create the line in a Paint program, save and insert into Publisher.
There is clipart that might be close to what you want. Any one of these can be
ungrouped and re-colored.
