Filling out template form

We have this old template at my work that Ive been asked to recreate for Word
2007.

In 2003, there was a custom menu "Template Tools" that gave a few options of
inserting companyName field and opening up a separate window that you fill
out the data once and it populated it through out the template. I have no
idea where to start working on this...Ive recreated the template, but I'm
stumped at the menu/fill-out window.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be oh so helpful and
I'll be oh so grateful!

If you mean that the template displayed a custom toolbar, you will probably
find the buttons for that toolbar on the Add-ins tab of the Ribbon.

The alternative is to modify the Ribbon, for which you will find some
information in the following page of fellow MVP Greg Maxey's website:
