Find acts funny

I have a XP Pro computer, MS Office 2000.

Sometimes in a Word document when I will type Ctrl. + F to find some text,
it will bring up the "find" dialog, but also there will be a full screen
window behind it.

The new window had the MS Word icon in the upper left corner, but no
buttons, menus, or text. Everything except the very top bar was the
standard "toolbar" dull grey color.

Let me know if anything is not clear.

Other users have reported such problems on machines with ATI Hydravision
graphics card and multi monitor support.

If you do use it:

rebooted, that solved the problem!

Or you might try the steps from

I don't know if it is a problem with Word, or one with the ATI driver. You
might try to contact ATI.

If that's not the cause, post back.
