finding names in the GAL

when i enter the first three letters of a name, and
outlook autocompleted the rest, i hit sent and it
says "outlook does not recognise..", and when i hit the
correct name in the list it add just the first name of
the person?

Any Ideas how i can tell outlook to use the name that it
autocompletes?
