Hi All,

I am using Project Server 2003. Is it possible to change the Fiscal Year in
Project professional for all Enterprise Projects? If i am changing in
Enterprise Global, it's not reflected for Old Projects which i have already
in Server. It's considering only New Projects.

Help me!

Thanks & Regards,
Jaya

Jaya,

If you re-publish all the projects it should inherit the new Fiscal
Period

No, this is not possible using the Enterprise Global file. Therefore, as
the Project Server administrator, you need to do the following:

1. Set the Fiscal Year for every enterprise project template in your
system. You cannot do this by changing the Enterprise Global template; you
must do it for each individual enterprise project template.

2. Require your users to set the Options settings for Fiscal Year in their
own Microsoft Project 2003 application and then to click the Set As Default
button. This will set the Fiscal Year values for every new BLANK project
they create. Then they will also need to open every current project and set
the Fiscal Year options as well.

Remember that the Enterprise Global template is your organization's
"library" of enterprise custom objects, such as Views, Tables, Filters,
Groups, Fields, Reports, etc. You cannot globally set Options values in
this file; instead, you must require each user to do this individually. I
also understand that you can use a Registry "push" to set these values as
well. Hope this helps.
