global enterprise template

I have a question - when using project server and a global enterprise
template, does project professional still allow you to create new blank
projects without using the global enterprise template, i.e. locally using
your own settings? many thanks

When a user creates a new blank project in Project Professional 2007 when
connected to Project Server, the user can create and apply his/her own
personal custom Views, Tables, Filters, and Groups, as well as apply the
enterprise custom Views, Tables, Filters, and Groups. There is no way to
prevent the user from accessing enterprise custom Views, Tables, Filters,
and Groups when connected to Project Server. Does this answer your
question? Let us know.

The Enterprise Global Template has nothing to do with how Project creates a
project, rather it contains the enterprise objects that a PM can access
along with any personal customizations. You can create and save Enterprise
Project Templates that project managers can use to start new projects, but
the only way to force them to use these is through some custom code.
